In this tutorial, we were instructed to go through a 22 step CSS tutorial, instructing on how to create a webpage with multiple logical containers. The tutorial also showcased how to use an internal stylesheet, as well as an external style sheet, showing the advantages, and functions of both types.This is a fantastic webpage layout for portfolios, and is very much similar to the CIS:2336 class homepage. In the future, I may implement this layout for my own. In addition for reference, the code for this page can be found here.
In addition, on the left hand side of the page, I have also implemented links to the w3schools for HTML and CSS, as the hands on tutorials really gave me a tangible idea of how the language works, and really how simple it is in the beginning to generate a basic webpage. The tutorials even let you manipulate test code! The tutorials and following quiz make the material very easy to learn, perfect for those trying to brush up on the material, or learn the language from scratch.
